The Paducah Alliance of Neighbors is excited to announce the launch of its 2025 Repair Affair program year, a volunteer-driven initiative to provide essential home repairs for low-income homeowners in Paducah, KY. This program connects individuals or teams with elderly, disabled, and low-income households to improve their quality of life through safe, functional living spaces.

We are seeking volunteers—individuals, small groups, or large teams—to lend their time and talents to this impactful community effort. In the years prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, Repair Affair coordinated assistance for 25-30 households annually, with volunteers contributing an average of 2,500 hours each year. For 2025, we aim to match even more homeowners with the right support to address critical repair needs.

Volunteer Opportunities and Project Types
We have a wide range of projects available, from drywall repair and carpentry to yard work, cleanup, painting, roofing, siding repair, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical work. No matter your skill level, there’s a way for you to get involved and make a meaningful impact. Larger projects can be split across multiple days or teams, and volunteers can adopt a home to tackle its full list of repair needs. A detailed list of current projects is available upon request.

Special Volunteer Day: Saturday, May 10, 2025
