Weather Conditions Lead to Closure of Paducah City Hall and Other Offices for Friday, January 10

  • City of Paducah Parks and facilities will be closed on Friday. For Noble Park, Parks and Recreation crews will need to assess the park for any damage and clear the roadways before the gates will be reopened.

  • Regarding solid waste collection, Friday’s garbage collection will be suspended. Those who typically have their garbage collected on Friday will have a collection on Monday, January 13. The curbside recycling for households that typically have collection on the second and fourth Mondays will have their regular collection on Monday, January 13.

With the forecast of accumulating snow beginning early Friday morning from the winter storm moving into the area, Paducah City Hall located at 300 South 5th Street and other City offices will be closed on Friday, January 10. 

City of Paducah Public Works crews have been pre-treating the roads to prepare for the storm. If you must travel on Friday, January 10, please use caution around the snow plows and provide plenty of space for the plow drivers to maneuver.

The National Weather Service Paducah Office has issued a Winter Storm Warning for Paducah in effect beginning at midnight on January 10.
